THE BOOK ADDICT

Up Next for Review

  • The Emporer's Edge series by Lindsay Buroker.
  • On the End Table (Reading this Right Now)
  • Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters by Alan S. Miller and Satoshi Kanazawa.

On my Kindle
  • A bunch of smut that I don't really want to admit to, but I'll tell you all about it in the next while. You know, to help you wade through all of that good and bad romance in time for Valentine's Day. OK. Maybe I didn't get through it all for V day. More to come.
  • Bob Mayer's Bodyguard of Lies
  • The Emporer's Edge series by Lindsay Buroker (OMG just read this series!)
  • Torrent by Lindsay Buroker
  • North and South by Elizabeth Cleghorn Gaskell (on my Kindle. It's helping me get through some lunchtime workouts.) BMBR: It's free, and it's great literature. The movie was good, too.
On The Piano (A.K.A.  Books Waiting Patiently to Be Read--in no Particular Order)
  • Kill Alex Cross by James Patterson
  • Knots & Crosses by Ian Rankin
  • The Moneychangers by Arthur Hailey
  • The Shoes of the Fisherman by Morris L. West
  • The Mistress of Spices by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
  • Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade by Diana Gabaldon
  • The Bat by Jo Nesbo (a Harry Hole thriller)
  • Winter of the Raven by Kay Johnson
  • Land of Echoes by Daniel Hecht
  • Watching the Dark by Peter Robinson (Inspector Banks)
  • The Racketeer by John Grisham
  • A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones box set)

  • A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs
On the Bookshelf/Kindle (I've Read These, and I've Talked about Them)
  • Never go Back by Lee Child
  • Thirst.by Christopher Pike. Lent to me by my niece. Yes, she's a teenager ;) Done.
  • The Land of Painted Caves by Jean M. Auel Woot! I'm done!
  •  A Wanted Man by Lee Child (a Jack Reacher book) (A real book. Jack Reacher books are worthy of the paper that they're printed on.) Done!
  • Wicked Business  by Janet Evanovich. BMBR score: I bought the real book, but at a discount. This series may be moved to the Kindle, especially if they're cheaper.
  • Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom series. (Kindle) BMBR: it's gotta be free if I'm going to get more books in this series.
  • Wicked Business by Janet Evanovich Done BMBR Score: I'll keep reading the original Stephanie Plum books, but I don't think I care enough about this series to keep on with it. Maybe if any of them become free ebooks.
